‘We Love, We Laugh, We Learn’

  • Harvest Festival

Wed 09 Oct 2019 Mr Watkins
Thank you to everyone who donated goods to our collection for Jimmy's of Cambridge. Our visitors from Jimmy's were so pleased with the actual donations and the comments and questions from the children during our assembly. The food items have been collected and are currently with Jimmy's ready for use in their shared houses. Barry (from Jimmy's café) reminded the children of the importance of charity and the types of problems faced by the homeless people of Cambridge. As a school, we should be proud of how well we supported the cause and feel pleased with our contribution.

  • Outdoor Gym

Fri 13 Sep 2019 Mr Watkins
Our new outdoor gym is now installed and ready for use. The pupils have made a great start with queues at break and lunchtime while they try out all the different machines. We hope the equipment will allow pupils another option for an active break/lunchtime. This was funded with our Sports Premium fund, in order to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.

Mon 24 Jun 2019 Mr Watkins
This time last week we were halfway through our maths days! I apologise for only getting around to it now but the standard of work produced over the two days was amazing! The children loved taking part in the activities and appreciated the opportunity to undertake some creative maths tasks. Many thanks to Mrs Lightning for leading the event and we are already thinking hard about which other subject area to focus on next.
