  • Amazing remote learning work

    We had some excellent work on the first week's home learning sent through to the class teachers. Mrs Mitchell wanted to highlight some excellent work from Lotta about her trip to Paris. Some amazing home editing here Lotta and lots of well sequenced ideas! sorry about the images Lotta - I'm trying to get them sorted! There is also a portrait drawing of Leonardo Da Vinci from Francie, well done! Very well matched to the style you've been studying. Ezra submitted some seasonal artwort - excellent work! 
  • COVID 19 CLOSURE

    In line with the Prime Minister's announcement regarding the spread of COVID-19 Colville Primary School is now closed. It is closed to all pupils on Tuesday 5th January. On Wednesday 6th January the school will open to the children of key workers and vulnerable students. Please check your email account for information on requesting a key worker place. You can still contact the school using our phone and/or email address as normal.

    Well done to Megan! Her Christmas card design was selected by our Member of Parliament to be his official 2020 Festive card. Well done!
  • Ancient Egypt

    Mrs Mitchell wanted to share the amazing work her class completed on their ancient Egyptian topic. Many thanks to Mrs Lamper for her sewing skills! Well done children!

  • Chelsea Buns!

    Year 6 have had a great time making Chelsea buns as part  of their topic learning this term. Many thanks to Mrs Mansfield for being head baker and well done to the children for their fantastic effort.

  • Hamper prizes!

    Thank you so much for the amazing donations for the hamper draw. As you can see the pictures we have some awesome prizes available and tickets can still be bought! The draw will be done in school via a zoom assembly for the children and we have a list of all ticket numbers so we can ensure the right prizes go home with the right person! A massive thank you to Miss Hunt in the office for organising the donations!
  • Zoolab!

    Year 4 welcomed the rainforest animals from Zoolab on Thursday. It was amazing to be able to hold the variety of creatures and learn fascinating facts about these amazing inhabitants. There were lots of brave students who overcame their fear to handle one of the animals. Many thanks to Mrs Harris for organising the activity.
  • First week

    The first week back is drawing to a close and I have just finished our Zoom sharing assembly. It is so nice to see students smiling and being proud of their Golden Certificate and House Points again. The school is starting to seem very normal and the children have got used to the bubble system in their classroom and playground.
