Well done the students who played in the tournament at St. Ives today. There was no shortage of skill, determination and positivity.
It’s finally here - the day you’ve all been waiting for. They have packed (loose definition) their wet filthy clothes ready for you. There are so many tired eyes!
Lots of very very tired children! Well done to both bike groups who managed to get all the way along the dam wall and then complete the bmx track too. Some canoeists and pioneering completed as well. Only one child managed a full submersion!
Morning all. It’s beautiful here and the kids are enjoying a hearty cooked breakfast before their activities. Mountain biking for most today and one group out on the water. Spirits are high as the winners of room inspection today get first choice of pudding tonight. I’m out on a bike most of the day so I’ll upload some images at dinner time (5ish).
Low ropes completed. Hot chocolates and some down time before bed!
All groups are now back in and getting ready for dinner. Hugely successful. Mr Hastings joined group 3 on the water and enjoyed splashing a few choice children!
A very frosty start to day two here in Grafham. It’s a day of climbing, canoeing and archery. There are lots of tired faces this morning! Lunchtime and it’s warmed up a little. Soup and rolls for lunch and then back out into it.
A successful first day (so far). Lots of smiling faces. There is one group out canoeing at the moment and then it’s dinner when they return!
Our new Year Six hoodies are in and the children are really excited to be wearing them. We'll see how long they stay blue for!
